Syria condemns Netanyahu’s entry into its territory as a violation of sovereignty

Syria’s Foreign Ministry has said it condemns the entry of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu into Syrian territory, calling it a clear violation of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The ministry said Netanyahu’s move was provocative and followed a series of tensions that, according to Syrian officials, put the country’s security and stability at risk.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry also stressed that the continued Israeli incursions and attacks would lead to further escalation, with consequences also affecting regional stability.

It added that Israel bears full responsibility for the consequences of these violations.

In recent years, Syria has repeatedly accused Israel of violating its sovereignty, and the issue of territorial integrity has remained a constant feature of Damascus’s official position in response to border and military incidents.
