Humanitarian Aid Ordered for Displaced Families from Pakistan Attacks in Eastern and Southern Provinces

The head of the Disaster Management Department announced that, by order of the Prime Minister, the process of delivering humanitarian aid to families displaced by Pakistani military attacks has begun. According to him, these aid supplies will be sent to areas where families have been forced to leave their homes as a result of the attacks.

Noureldin Torabi emphasized that the responsibility for delivering aid to the eastern provinces has been assigned to the Disaster Management Department. He added that necessary coordination for transferring relief materials to these regions is currently underway.

At the same time, based on this directive, the Red Crescent Society has been tasked with delivering aid to the southern provinces. The objective of this action is to promptly address the urgent needs of the displaced, including shelter, food supplies, and other basic necessities.

In recent months, some border areas of Afghanistan have witnessed tensions and clashes, resulting in the displacement of numerous families. However, there have consistently been concerns regarding the capacity and transparency of the aid distribution process under Taliban administration, and residents of the affected areas are demanding timely and fair attention to their situation.
