A severe storm in Kandahar province completely destroyed a manufacturing workshop owned by a returning migrant, resulting in nearly three million Afghanis in damages. The incident occurred yesterday, and according to local officials, all facilities and equipment in the workshop were wiped out.

The owner of the workshop, who had invested in production after returning to the country, stated that with the complete destruction of his workplace, dozens of workers have lost their jobs. He emphasized that continuing this situation could increase the economic hardships of families dependent on the workshop.

This returning migrant has called on the Taliban administration and humanitarian organizations to take immediate action to compensate for the damages and support the unemployed workers. According to him, without practical support, rebuilding the workshop and resuming production activities will not be possible.

Economic experts consistently stress that providing support for small investments, especially those by returning migrants, plays a crucial role in reducing unemployment and strengthening the local economy in various areas of the country.
