New Documents Reveal Billionaire Tom Pritzker Borrowed Military Helicopters for Afghanistan Trip

Newly released documents reveal that Tom Pritzker, an American billionaire, borrowed two military helicopters from General David Petraeus, then commander of US and NATO forces, during his 2011 trip to Afghanistan. According to an email Pritzker sent to Jeffrey Epstein, he was in a “remote valley” in Afghanistan and described the trip as his birthday wish. The message states that he met with Petraeus the day before and was provided with one helicopter accompanied by a backup helicopter. Pritzker wrote in the email: “I am in a remote valley in Afghanistan (this is my birthday wish) and with the boys and toys. I spent time with Petraeus yesterday and he lent me a helicopter (actually two helicopters, one as backup). I will not be able to make contact until tomorrow.” The documents also show that Pritzker exchanged emails with Jeffrey Epstein for years discussing travel plans and various events. The release of these correspondences sparked widespread reactions. Following the public disclosure of these documents, Pritzker resigned from his position as CEO of Hyatt Hotels’ board. Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of sexually abusing underage girls, died in prison in August 2019.
