Afghanistan Meteorology Office Forecasts Rain and Snow in 24 Provinces

The Meteorology Department of the Taliban’s Ministry of Transport and Aviation has announced that on Tuesday, the 18th of Kab, rain and snow are expected in 24 provinces across Afghanistan.

According to the forecast, the provinces of Kabul, Farah, Herat, Badghis, Ghor, Faryab, Sar-e Pol, Balkh, Samangan, Baghlan, Kunduz, Takhar, and Badakhshan are included in this warning.

Additionally, Nuristan, Kunar, Laghman, Nangarhar, Kapisa, Panjshir, Parwan, Logar, Maidan Wardak, Bamyan, and Daikundi will also experience rainfall and snowfall.

The Meteorology Department has not provided further details on the expected amount of precipitation or its impact on travel along highways; however, rainfall in some mountainous areas may cause landslides and difficulties in transportation.
