Dr. Najibullah’s Daughter Says Global Politics Has Entered a New Phase
Hila Najibullah, daughter of Dr. Najibullah, former president of Afghanistan, responded to the recent stance of the United States by stating that global politics has entered a new phase; a phase in which, according to her, major powers fail to adequately support their citizens in difficult situations.
She criticized the US, saying that the country sends its low-income citizens to war but does not take serious action to help them when they are detained or caught in critical circumstances.
These remarks came after the US Embassy in Jerusalem announced that it is currently not in a position to evacuate American citizens from Israel or directly assist them in the evacuation process.
The US Embassy has urged its citizens to independently plan for their personal safety and use other resources and options to leave Israel. In a message, Hila Najibullah wrote, “Ladies and gentlemen, a new era of politics is taking shape,” a phrase she believes reflects a shift in the responsibility and behavior of global powers.
