CBS Reports Six US Soldiers Killed in Iranian Drone Attack in Kuwait

CBS News has reported that six American soldiers were killed following an Iranian drone attack on a temporary US forces command center in Kuwait. According to the network, the incident occurred amid escalating tensions and retaliatory strikes between the US, Israel, and Iran.
The report states that US troops were stationed at a tactical operations center near the port of Al-Shuaiba in Kuwait, a location directly targeted by an Iranian drone. This site reportedly served as a temporary command center.
US military officials told CBS that the building housing the soldiers was a temporary operational trailer that lacked sufficient structural strength. Additionally, the center reportedly did not have air defense systems capable of countering drone threats.
CBS also noted that, so far, only four US military fatalities have been officially confirmed. The network claims there are restrictions on releasing detailed information about US casualties in attacks linked to Iran.
