Saudi Arabia Distributes 2,000 Food Packages in Laghman and Kunar Provinces

The Saudi Arabian Embassy in Kabul announced that the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has distributed 2,000 food packages in two phases across the provinces of Laghman and Kunar.
According to the embassy’s statement, these aid packages were delivered to those in need on Thursday, February 27, and Sunday, March 1, in Mehtarlam, the capital of Laghman Province, and Sardebad in Kunar Province. The source indicated that 1,000 food packages were distributed in each of these two provinces.
The Saudi Embassy said this initiative is part of the Food Security and Emergency Assistance Project for Afghanistan for the years 2025 and 2026. The project aims to support vulnerable families in various parts of the country.
Based on the information provided, the Center’s food aid efforts have increased over the past two months. Additionally, at the beginning of the month of Ramadan, the distribution of dates to Afghan citizens was also launched by this organization.
