Kim Jong-un Says Improved US Relations Depend on Washington Changing Hostile Policies

Kim Jong-un, the leader of North Korea, has stated that establishing better relations with the United States is conditional on the abandonment of what he describes as Washington’s “hostile policies.” He said that if the US changes its approach, there would be no obstacles to improving ties between the two countries.
According to international media, the North Korean leader emphasized that Pyongyang continues to advance its plans to strengthen its military capabilities. He asserted that his country is focused on projects aimed at increasing the number of nuclear weapons and expanding the operational range of these armaments.
Kim Jong-un also warned against what he called “provocative behavior” by South Korea, saying that if such actions threaten his country’s security, Pyongyang could take aggressive measures.
Relations between North Korea and the United States have been marked by persistent tensions in recent years, with North Korea’s nuclear program being one of the main points of contention between the two sides.
