Rubio: Ukraine War Has No Military Solution, Only Diplomacy Can End It
Marco Rubio, the US Secretary of State, announced that the war in Ukraine has no military solution and can only be ended through diplomacy. He emphasized that continuing the conflict through military means will not be effective and that political efforts must take priority.
Rubio also warned that President Donald Trump’s patience is limited regarding the slow progress in reaching an agreement on Ukraine. According to him, Washington seeks tangible progress in the negotiations.
Referring to the ongoing talks, the US Secretary of State added that complex questions remain in the process of discussions related to Ukraine, but the scope of these uncertainties has decreased compared to the past.
In another part of his remarks, he addressed issues concerning nuclear weapons agreements among major powers, stating that any such agreement must involve the participation of the US, China, and Russia. Rubio said that such an agreement could be effective in promoting global peace.
