13 Police Officers Killed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amid Ramadan Security Incidents

Pakistani media have reported that during the first week of Ramadan, at least 13 police officers were killed and 10 others injured due to an increase in security incidents in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

According to these reports, the incidents occurred in the areas of Kohat, Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, and Karak, with the highest number of casualties reported in the Kohat region.

Media citing local police officials have noted that security measures have been intensified in the province with the start of Ramadan. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is considered one of Pakistan’s most insecure provinces and has witnessed numerous armed attacks and similar incidents in recent years.
