Former Ukrainian Official Claims Zelensky Named Over 50 Times in Epstein Case Linked to Corruption and Human Trafficking

Viktor Medvedchuk, head of the ‘Ukraine Other’ movement and a former Ukrainian official, has claimed that the name of Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, appears more than 50 times in files related to Jeffrey Epstein. According to Medvedchuk, these instances involve conversations connected to human trafficking and corruption in Ukraine.
RIA Novosti news agency, citing Medvedchuk, reported that in addition to these allegations, several individuals close to President Zelensky also face accusations of financial corruption. So far, official Ukrainian authorities have not issued any public response regarding these claims.
Meanwhile, the German newspaper Berliner Zeitung previously reported that if a new case of corruption involving Zelensky’s inner circle is revealed, there is a possibility that he might step down. The report noted that Zelensky rose to power on an anti-corruption platform, but critics believe he has faced serious challenges in curbing this issue.
The report also claimed that some of the president’s friends and close associates have influenced decision-making processes even without holding official positions. Earlier, Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau had announced the indictment of seven individuals on corruption charges in the energy sector, a case that underscores how the fight against corruption remains one of the country’s significant political challenges.
