Private Factory in Kunduz Produces Over Four Tons of PVC Pipes Daily

Officials of a private pipe manufacturing factory in Kunduz province say the factory produces more than four tons of PVC and plastic pipes daily. According to them, the factory’s products are supplied not only to local markets but also to several neighboring provinces.

The officials emphasized that their products are exported to various districts of Kunduz as well as to Baghlan, Badakhshan, and Takhar provinces. They added that increased demand for plastic pipes in the construction and agricultural sectors has facilitated the expansion of this factory’s activities.

PVC pipes are widely used in construction projects and water supply networks due to their lightweight, moisture resistance, and lower cost. The growth of such factories can help create job opportunities and reduce dependency on imports at the provincial level.
