Tariq Rahman, leader of Bangladesh’s Nationalist Party, was sworn in as the Prime Minister of the South Asian country on Tuesday after a decisive victory in the parliamentary elections. This event has been regarded by observers as a turning point in Bangladesh’s political landscape following a tense period.
