First Group of Bangladeshi Students Arrive in Pakistan with Allama Iqbal Scholarships

The first group of Bangladeshi students who have received the ‘Allama Iqbal’ scholarships have arrived in Pakistan to pursue higher education at the country’s leading universities under the ‘Dehleez-e-Danish’ program.

The Pakistani High Commission in Bangladesh announced that this initiative has been undertaken to strengthen educational and cultural ties between the two countries. According to the commission, this program is part of joint efforts by Islamabad and Dhaka to expand scientific cooperation among the younger generation.

Based on the information provided, the students were officially welcomed upon their arrival in Pakistan, and it is expected that more groups of students from various fields will travel to Pakistan through this program in the near future.

The ‘Allama Iqbal’ scholarships are among the significant educational initiatives offered by Pakistan to students from regional countries. The ‘Dehleez-e-Danish’ agreement between Pakistan and Bangladesh was established in recent years following improved diplomatic relations between the two countries, aiming to exchange scientific experiences and develop regional cooperation in higher education.
