Three Dead, Including Woman and Child, in Traffic Accident in Baghlan

Three people, including a woman and a child, have died in a traffic accident in Doshi district of Baghlan province. The incident occurred when a folder truck collided with a passenger vehicle.

The spokesperson for the Taliban’s security command in Baghlan stated that the accident took place on Sunday, January 31, in one area of Doshi district, resulting in the deaths and injuring four others.

According to the local official, the injured were transferred to the hospital for treatment. No further details have been provided about their medical condition so far.

This incident comes amid recent reports of a rise in traffic accidents in several provinces. Two days earlier, two people lost their lives in a similar accident in Shahr-e-Buzurg district of Badakhshan province. This situation has once again drawn attention to road conditions, traffic oversight, and the Taliban administration’s responsibility for ensuring road safety.
