House Roof Collapse in Jalalabad Kills Seven Family Members, Injures One

Local officials in Nangarhar province report that the roof of a residential house collapsed in the city of Jalalabad, resulting in the deaths of seven family members and injuring another person.

Quraishi Badloon, the head of Nangarhar’s Information and Culture Department, stated that the incident occurred Wednesday night in the Ghojak area, located in the seventh district of Jalalabad city.

He added that the victims were women and children, and the injured individual was transferred to a medical center for treatment.

Local authorities have not yet provided further details about the cause of the roof collapse, and investigations are ongoing.
