Death Toll of Journalists in Gaza Rises to 260 Amid Ongoing Conflict

The official media office in the Gaza Strip announced in a statement that the number of journalists and media workers killed in the region has reached 260. The office stated that casualties among media activists during the ongoing events have alarmingly increased.
The statement strongly condemned what it described as the “massacre and targeted assassination of journalists” and called on the International Federation of Journalists, the Arab Journalists Union, and other global media organizations to officially denounce these incidents.
The Gaza official media office held the Israeli occupation regime and countries it claims are supporting or participating in what it described as the “genocide of the people of the Gaza Strip” responsible for these events.
Furthermore, the office urged the international community, international bodies, and organizations related to media activities to take practical measures to prevent the continuation of this situation and to facilitate the legal prosecution of those responsible in international courts.
