Lavrov Reports Failure of Ukrainian Drone Attack on Putin’s Residence

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced that Ukraine carried out a drone attack late Sunday targeting Vladimir Putin’s residence in the Novgorod region. According to Russian officials, the attack ended without casualties or damage.
Lavrov told reporters that the assault involved 91 drones, all of which were intercepted and shot down by Russian defense systems. He emphasized that the operation’s target was the residence of the Russian president.
Describing the incident as a hostile act, the Foreign Minister stated that Moscow does not consider such an attack tolerable. However, he stressed that Russia does not intend to abandon ongoing dialogue and negotiations following the event.
Meanwhile, Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, declared that Ukraine’s action targeting the president’s residence would not go unanswered. She warned that this move would be met with a retaliatory response.
