114 Humanitarian Aid Shipments Sent from Herat to Gaza

Officials coordinating public aid efforts in Herat province have announced that 114 aid shipments prepared by residents of Herat and other western provinces have so far been sent to support the people of Gaza.

Mufti Amir Mohammad Khadem, the official responsible for the process in Herat, stated that the aid is not limited to cash alone; each shipment on average contains five to ten thousand dollars in cash, clothing, food supplies, and other relief packages.

According to him, the collection of aid continues, and efforts are underway to send new shipments to Gaza on a weekly basis. He urged citizens to maintain their humanitarian cooperation to sustain this assistance.

These aid efforts come as the ongoing war and Israeli military attacks in Gaza have increased the immediate needs of the local population, with international organizations repeatedly warning of shortages in food, medical services, and shelter.
