Taliban’s Transport Ministry Conducts Technical Inspection of Over 35,000 Vehicles in Three Months

The Taliban’s Ministry of Transport and Aviation has announced that in the past three months, 35,287 passenger and cargo vehicles across various provinces of the country have undergone technical inspections.
According to the ministry, these assessments cover different aspects of the vehicles’ technical condition, aiming to ensure the safety of passengers, commercial goods, and the vehicles themselves.
Based on the published information, the inspections seek to prevent potential hazards, traffic incidents, and financial or human losses.
However, transport experts emphasize that improving road safety is not limited to vehicle technical inspections alone. It also requires transparency in enforcing standards, continuous supervision, and addressing the condition of roads and traffic management—issues that have consistently been a concern for residents over recent years.
