Gunmen Rob Over Rs155 Million in Coordinated Attacks on Banks in Balochistan

Police in Pakistan’s Balochistan province say armed men launched coordinated attacks on three private banks in the Chitkan market area of Panjgur district, looting more than 155 million Pakistani rupees in cash.
According to official reports, the incident occurred while the funds were being transferred, during which the assailants used firearms to seize control of the area for a period of time.
As the attackers attempted to flee the scene, a gunfight broke out between them and the police. One police officer and one civilian were killed in the exchange of fire.
Authorities also reported that four police officers sustained injuries in the incident. Police have launched an investigation, but no information has yet been released regarding the identity or arrest of the perpetrators.
