Yemen Government Chief Condemns Saudi Regime for Continued Civilian Killings

Mohammed Abdulsalam, the chief negotiator of the Yemeni government delegation, stated that according to reports, the Saudi regime continues to target civilians in markets and villages far from the front lines, committing widespread massacres. He said the bombing of the Al-Sharia village in the Bani Hashish area included targeting aid workers, which has prevented assistance to the wounded. Additionally, the Al-Hadhara market in the Al-Waziyah area of Taiz witnessed a brutal killing spree that claimed the lives of over 30 people and injured dozens more. Abdulsalam described these brutal acts as a failed attempt to compensate for the Saudi regime’s military defeats and warned that the consequences of these crimes would be severe for those responsible. He also emphasized the Yemeni people’s right to restore their full sovereignty and held the Saudi regime accountable for the consequences of the violence. Abdulsalam reminded that achieving peace is far cheaper and better than continuing aggression and bloodshed.
