OIC Chief of Office Discusses Organizational Support Efforts for Afghanistan

Mohammad bin Saeed Al-Ayyash, Head of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) office in Afghanistan, addressed the role and efforts of the organization in supporting Afghanistan during a scientific seminar held at the Foreign Ministry’s Diplomacy Faculty under the Taliban administration.

The meeting, attended by numerous officials from various ministries and departments of the Taliban administration, focused on topics including public and multilateral diplomacy, the OIC’s structure, and its decisions regarding Afghanistan.

Discussions also covered the follow-up on the implementation of these decisions by the OIC office in Kabul and the organization’s activities across different sectors.

This event took place as the Taliban administration once again seeks to strengthen its role on the international stage by organizing such gatherings; however, questions remain about the actual impact of these collaborations on improving the economic and social conditions of the Afghan people.
