Two Traffic Accidents in Balkh Kill Four and Injure Four More

In two separate traffic incidents in Balkh province, four people lost their lives and four others were injured. The first accident occurred on the route from Mazar-i-Sharif to Kabul, where a collision between two vehicles resulted in three deaths and four injuries. In the second incident, a collision between a tanker truck and a Swift car in the Dasht-e Shor area led to the death of one individual.

The Balkh police command attributed the main cause of these tragic events to driver negligence. These accidents have once again heightened concerns about the poor state of road safety and the weak enforcement of traffic laws in the province.
