25 Development Projects Worth More Than 66 Million Afghanis Completed in Samangan

The Rural Development and Reconstruction Department in Afghanistan’s Samangan province says 25 development projects have been completed and put into operation there. The total investment for the projects amounted to more than 66.767 million Afghanis.
The projects carried out mainly included the repair and expansion of water supply systems, construction of retaining walls, and the repair and separation of roads. The work comes as many provinces across Afghanistan face serious infrastructure problems.
Despite claims that these projects have been completed, there is a recognised need for greater attention to infrastructure development and for improvements in public services across the country’s provinces, particularly in Afghanistan’s rural areas.
