Taliban envoy in Russia meets Kazakhstan ambassador

The Taliban administration’s embassy in Russia has said that Mawlawi Gul Hassan Hassan, its ambassador, met with Kazakhstan’s ambassador, Daueren Abayev.

According to the embassy’s statement, the two sides discussed political, economic and trade relations between Afghanistan and Kazakhstan.

The statement said investment opportunities in Afghanistan were also among the topics discussed by the two ambassadors. The Taliban administration’s embassy did not provide further details on the outcome of the talks or any possible agreement between the two sides.
