Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister named in Radio Pakistan arson case

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and four others have been named as accused in the case over the 2023 attack and arson at the Radio Pakistan building in Peshawar.

Pakistani media reported that prosecutors submitted the case documents to an anti-terrorism court after reviewing videos and images of the suspected individuals.

Leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf have questioned the authenticity of the videos presented in the case. A total of 75 people are currently on trial in connection with the case, and the next court hearing has been adjourned until October 28.
