Gas Cylinder Explosion in Rickshaw Injures 14 in Afghanistan’s Laghman

An explosion from a gas cylinder in a rickshaw in the area of Rahmani Chowk in Mehterlam city, the capital of Laghman province, has left 14 people injured.

Abdulmalik Niazi, spokesman for the governor of Laghman, said the incident took place yesterday evening. According to him, initial information indicates that the blast was caused by the gas cylinder of a rickshaw.

The Laghman governor’s spokesman added that investigations into the incident are continuing.

Mehterlam is the capital of Laghman province in eastern Afghanistan, and Rahmani Chowk is considered one of the urban areas of the province.
