Freedom Front Says Attack on Taliban Checkpoint in Kabul Kills Three

The Afghanistan Freedom Front has said that three fighters from the Taliban administration were killed and two others wounded in an attack by its forces on a Taliban checkpoint in Kabul city.
According to the Freedom Front, the incident took place on Thursday evening, 5 Sonbola, at around 8:00 pm, in the Ali Khel area of Police District 16 in Kabul.
The front added in a statement that its own forces were not harmed in the attack. Independent sources have so far not commented on the incident.
The Freedom Front also said clashes between the group and the Taliban administration have increased in recent weeks in different parts of Afghanistan.
A day earlier, it had also claimed that in an attack on a Taliban checkpoint in Kunar province, one fighter from the administration was killed and two others wounded. Police District 16 covers one of the eastern parts of Kabul city.
