Qatar Ambassador in Kabul Holds Farewell Meeting With Turkish Deputy Ambassador

The Ambassador of Qatar to Afghanistan held a farewell meeting with Bilal Emre, the deputy ambassador of Turkey in Kabul, at the end of his mission in Afghanistan.

The State of Qatar’s embassy in Kabul said the meeting was held on the occasion of the completion of Bilal Emre’s assignment.

According to the embassy, Dr. Mirdef bin Ali Al-Qashti, Qatar’s ambassador, thanked Bilal Emre for his role in strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation during his mission in Afghanistan.

The Qatari ambassador also wished the Turkish diplomat success in his future responsibilities.

Qatar and Turkey are among the countries that have maintained their diplomatic presence in Kabul after the Taliban administration took control of Afghanistan.
