Yemeni sources say Saudi reconnaissance drone shot down over Hajjah

Yemeni sources say a Saudi reconnaissance drone has been shot down over Yemen’s Hajjah province. According to a Yemeni military source, the drone was targeted as it entered the province’s airspace.
Saba news agency, citing the source, reported that the downed drone was a ScanEagle. The source said Yemen’s armed forces, affiliated with the Houthis, targeted the drone with an “appropriate weapon.”
According to the source, the drone was violating Yemeni airspace over Hajjah province. He did not provide further details on the exact time of the incident or any possible damage caused.
Hajjah province is located in northwestern Yemen and is considered one of the areas near the Saudi border, a region that has seen repeated clashes and air operations in recent years.
