Israel Shells Southern Countryside of Syria’s Quneitra

Syrian sources have reported a fresh Israeli shelling of the Tel Ahmar al-Sharqi area in the southern countryside of Quneitra province in southern Syria.
An Al-Ikhbariya correspondent reported that Israeli forces targeted the area using heavy artillery. The outlet has so far not published further details about possible casualties or damage.
The incident comes as Israeli attacks on parts of Syria have continued in recent months. According to Syrian sources, Israel also bombed areas of Damascus some time ago under the pretext of supporting the Druze.
Meanwhile, after the سقوط of Bashar al-Assad’s government, Israeli forces crossed the buffer line between the occupied Golan and Syria and expanded their presence in areas near the Golan in the provinces of Daraa and Quneitra. Quneitra is one of southern Syria’s provinces and is located next to the occupied Golan.
