Afghanistan Beat Ireland by Three Wickets as Rashid Khan Shines

Afghanistan’s national cricket team defeated Ireland by three wickets in the third one-day international, recording their second win in the series.
According to the Afghanistan Cricket Board, Ireland, batting first, made 206 runs in 46.3 overs after losing all their players, setting Afghanistan a target of 207.
Afghanistan, batting second, reached the target in 44.5 overs despite losing seven wickets. Rahmanullah Gurbaz made the biggest contribution to Afghanistan’s victory with 71 runs.
Rashid Khan also played a decisive role in the result, scoring 37 runs and remaining at the crease until the end of the match. He was named player of the match. Sediqullah Atal scored 27 runs and Hashmatullah Shahidi added 22 for Afghanistan.
With this result, Afghanistan, after the first match was abandoned due to rain and a 92-run victory in the second match, now lead Ireland 2-0. The match was played in Belfast.
