Two Traffic Incidents in Samangan Province Claim Two Lives

The Samangan Police Command has announced that two people have died and four others were injured in two separate traffic incidents in the province. According to a statement from the police media office, the first incident occurred in the city of Aybak, where a Corolla car collided with a truck. As a result of the collision, the car driver lost his life and four others were injured. The police command reported that the second incident happened in the Kholm district. In this accident, a Corolla car struck a six-year-old child, who subsequently died. The statement added that preliminary investigations indicate driver negligence was the cause of these incidents. Samangan province is located in northern Afghanistan, and its highways are among the busiest routes connecting northern provinces.
