Two Arrested in Nangarhar for Smuggling 40 Packs of Oud

Local Taliban officials in Nangarhar province announced the arrest of two individuals in Shirzad district on charges of illegally trafficking 40 packs of oud. According to officials from the Criminal Investigation Department, the suspects were identified and detained during a raid in the Gundamak area of Shirzad district. Taliban authorities claim that these individuals smuggled the packs of oud into Afghanistan from Pakistan. The suspects were apprehended while transporting the materials in a Corolla vehicle along with the mentioned packs. Shirzad district is located in the southern part of Nangarhar province and is considered one of the border districts with Pakistan.
