Israeli Army Continues Shelling in Southern Lebanon Amid Rising Tensions

Lebanese sources have reported that the Israeli army’s artillery attacks have targeted parts of southern Lebanon, with several residential and natural areas coming under fire. According to Lebanese media, the forests and the elevations of Ali Al-Taher on the outskirts of Nabatieh Al-Fawqa are among the areas being shelled. These attacks are said to be ongoing continuously. The official Lebanese news agency correspondent also reported Israeli forces advancing into areas near the town of Meis Al-Jabal and stated that northern parts of this town have been targeted by artillery fire. Additionally, according to Al-Mayadeen, the town of Al-Mansouri in southern Lebanon has also been shelled, and an explosion caused by the Israeli army occurred in the town of Houla. Southern Lebanon has witnessed escalating tensions between Israel and armed groups stationed in the region in recent months, raising concerns about the potential expansion of hostilities.
