Russia Strikes Ukrainian Ports of Odessa and Mykolaiv

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Russian forces targeted port facilities in the Ukrainian cities of Odessa and Mykolaiv on Saturday.
According to the ministry, the attacks struck ships and transport infrastructure allegedly used by the Ukrainian military.
The Russian Defense Ministry added that in the port of Odessa, fuel storage tanks intended for Ukrainian forces were targeted using guided aerial weapons and drones.
Additionally, the ministry stated that a tugboat in the port of Mykolaiv, repurposed to deploy unmanned surface vessels, was also attacked. Odessa and Mykolaiv are among Ukraine’s key ports on the Black Sea coast and have been repeatedly targeted during the ongoing conflict between the two countries.
