Yemen Foreign Ministry Deems Iraq’s Response to US-Saudi Attacks Legitimate

The Foreign Ministry of the Yemeni government affiliated with the Ansar Allah movement condemned the US and Saudi attacks on Iraqi territory as a clear violation of international law, emphasizing that Iraq’s response, along with that of its people and resistance forces, is a legitimate right.
The ministry stated that the Saudi regime’s aggression against Iraq is an illegal act, and Sanaa supports any defensive measures taken by Baghdad against these attacks.
Simultaneously, the political office of the Ansar Allah movement issued a statement strongly condemning the joint US-Saudi attack on Iraq, describing it as contrary to international charters.
The statement added that these attacks are a blatant violation of Iraq’s sovereignty and represent a continuation of Washington and Riyadh’s hegemonic policies in the region.
According to reports, at least 20 people have been killed and 32 others wounded following US and Saudi attacks on Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) bases in Iraq. The PMF is part of Iraq’s security forces and has played a key role in confronting extremist groups in recent years.
