Nighttime Curfew Imposed in Nushki District Amid Rising Insecurity in Balochistan

Local authorities in Pakistan’s Balochistan province have announced a nighttime curfew across the Nushki district due to escalating insecurity. The Balochistan Ministry of Interior stated that this restriction began at 8:00 PM on Tuesday and will remain in effect until 8:00 PM on July 31. According to the ministry, this decision comes as security conditions in Balochistan have deteriorated in recent weeks, with armed opposition groups intensifying their attacks on military and security installations. Located in southwestern Pakistan, Balochistan has witnessed frequent clashes and armed assaults over the past years.
