Manzoor Pashteen Calls for Intensified Campaign to Free PTM Prisoners

Manzoor Pashteen, leader of the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM), has urged his supporters to intensify campaigns for the release of other jailed members following the recent freeing of several activists.
On Friday, in a statement welcoming the release of PTM Central Committee member Zabir Shah Agha, Shirani district coordinator Usman Shirani, and Islamabad branch member Muhammad Shoaib Khan, Pashteen expressed happiness at their return.
According to him, Zabir Shah Agha was abducted nearly a month ago by Pakistan’s intelligence agency during a meeting aimed at planning the release of other detained members.
Pashteen also thanked the movement’s members, lawyers, human rights activists, international organizations, and the media, stating that their continuous efforts played a vital role in securing the release of PTM prisoners and keeping the Pashtun cause alive.
He called on his supporters to continue their efforts and campaigns to free Haji Abdul Samad, Ali Wazir, Noorullah Tarin, Hanif Pashteen, and Fareed Afridi.
