UK Special Envoy Expresses Sympathy for Flood Victims in Nuristan Province

Richard Lindsay, the United Kingdom’s Special Envoy for Afghanistan, expressed his condolences to the families of the victims following the devastating floods in Nuristan province. On Tuesday, July 21, he wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) page that he was deeply saddened by the deaths of numerous residents and the disappearance of others due to the floods. The UK Special Envoy also commended the efforts of rescue teams searching for and aiding the missing individuals and wished patience and recovery for those affected.
