Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Claims Missile Attack on Amazon Data Center in Bahrain

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that it carried out a missile attack on the central data infrastructure of the American company Amazon located in Bahrain, destroying the facility.
In statement number 39, released on Tuesday, July 21, the IRGC described the attack as part of the “Wave 24 of Nasr 2 operations” and claimed that the strike was in retaliation for what it described as the “aggression and assault” by the United States military against civilian and under-construction facilities in Darkhouin.
According to the IRGC, the operation was conducted by its Aerospace Forces using multiple cruise missiles.
As of the publication of this report, officials from Bahrain and Amazon have not issued any response to the claims. Bahrain is also known to host some U.S. military facilities in the region.
