42 Pakistani Security Forces Killed in Balochistan Attacks

The Pakistani army has announced that since July 6, three militant attacks in the province of Balochistan have resulted in the deaths of 42 police and army personnel. According to the military, these incidents occurred in various areas of Balochistan, located in southwestern Pakistan.

On Wednesday, July 8, Reuters reported citing the Pakistani army that security forces have launched operations in response to these attacks. According to the information provided, 54 militants were also killed during these operations.

Balochistan, one of Pakistan’s largest provinces and sharing borders with Afghanistan and Iran, has witnessed frequent attacks by armed groups against security forces and government installations in recent years. The ongoing insecurity in this province has made it one of Pakistan’s most vulnerable regions in terms of security.
