CENTCOM Confirms Continued Presence of Two US Aircraft Carriers in Middle East

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced that two American aircraft carriers remain present in the Middle East and continue their operations. According to the military body, the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) is currently cruising in the Arabian Sea, with American forces operating at full readiness.

CENTCOM emphasized that this military presence is aimed at securing vital waterways and protecting commercial shipping. US officials have previously stated that naval forces are deployed to maintain stability and support allied nations in the region.

The ongoing deployment of these carriers coincides with recent developments in the region and follows the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran. Further details regarding the operational objectives of these carriers have not been released, but CENTCOM has stated that it continuously monitors regional developments.

The USS George H.W. Bush is one of the advanced Nimitz-class carriers, capable of carrying dozens of fighter jets and conducting extensive air and naval operations. These carriers are generally considered a key component of the United States’ military presence in international waters.
