Suspect Arrested in Incident Injuring Three Girls in Kabul

A spokesman for the Kabul police command announced that the individual responsible for the incident in which three girls were injured in the city’s sixth security district has been arrested. According to him, the person was detained along with his vehicle by police forces.

Khalid Zadran said on Monday that the arrested individual is currently under legal investigation and that the inquiry process by the relevant agencies is ongoing. He did not provide further details on how the incident occurred or the medical condition of the injured girls.

The sixth security district is one of the busiest areas in Kabul and has previously seen similar incidents. Residents of this area have continually called for improved security measures and transparent handling of cases by the Taliban administration.

So far, the Taliban administration has not released additional information regarding the motive or further details of the event.
