Preliminary Survey Begins for Pashtunband Border Road in Herat

Local officials in Herat province have announced the commencement of the initial survey for the Pashtunband border road, with asphalt paving scheduled to begin soon. According to them, this project is being implemented by the Directorate of Rural Rehabilitation and Development of Herat province.
Officials say that upon completion of this road, travel for residents of the border areas will be facilitated, providing better access to services and markets. They expressed hope that the project will proceed without interruption.
The Pashtunband road is located in one of Herat’s border regions, where residents have long demanded improvements to this route. Local authorities believe that starting the survey is the first step towards fulfilling this demand.
