Pakistan Delivers Special Letter to Iran’s Leader via Foreign Minister Araqchi

During an official visit to Tehran, Pakistan’s Interior Minister handed over a special letter addressed to Iran’s Supreme Leader to Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister. This letter was presented during an official meeting between the two officials in the Iranian capital.
According to reports, Syed Mohsin Naqvi met and held talks with Iran’s Foreign Minister on this trip. Mehr News Agency reported that the letter was prepared by Pakistani authorities and delivered through official diplomatic channels.
In recent weeks, Pakistan has played the role of mediator between Iran and the United States. In this context, Pakistani officials have made multiple trips to Tehran to exchange messages between the two parties.
Yesterday, the Pakistani Interior Minister arrived in Tehran for the several time in recent weeks, and in addition to meeting with the Foreign Minister, he also held discussions with Iran’s Interior Minister. No further details about the contents of the letter have been released.
