Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Begins Four-Day Visit to China

Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, has commenced his four-day visit to China, where he is scheduled to discuss bilateral cooperation with senior Chinese officials. The visit focuses on expanding economic and trade relations between Islamabad and Beijing.
He first arrived in Hangzhou, where he will participate in trade meetings and ceremonies for signing cooperation memorandums between Pakistani and Chinese companies. These activities are part of the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project, a major initiative aimed at developing infrastructure and enhancing regional connectivity.
The Pakistani Prime Minister will then travel to Beijing for an official meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The discussions are expected to cover political relations, regional cooperation, and prospects for future investments.
Additionally, Shehbaz Sharif will attend the 75th anniversary celebration of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China, a partnership that has remained a cornerstone of both countries’ foreign policies for decades.
