Three Health Centers Opened in Helmand to Expand Medical Services

The Public Health Department of the Taliban administration in Helmand province announced that three new health centers in the districts of Baghran and Boghani have been officially handed over to the relevant health authorities after construction was completed and have begun operating.
According to a statement from the department, Naqibullah Fateh, head of Helmand Public Health, said these centers were built by the engineering team of the Public Health Department and the Faizi Builders construction company in accordance with established standards. After construction was finished, these facilities were handed over to the respective sectors to provide health services.
He added that with the activation of these centers, the provision of basic and primary health services for residents of the mentioned districts will expand, facilitating increased access to medical treatment for people in remote areas.
Officials stated that the cost of building these three centers was about 25 million Afghanis, funded with financial support from the International Organization for Migration (IOM). Helmand province is one of the provinces where many residents in remote districts face a lack of health services.
